It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maurice Johnson of Nordheim, Texas, born in Cuero, Texas, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Joyce Kenne Johnson; and his brother-in-law David Baumann. He is survived by: his daughters, Marissa Lenhart (Tyler) of Austwell and Rebecca Malone (Shawn) of Denton; his stepchildren, Charlie Friesenhahn (Tara) of Yorktown and Kristi Stehling of Yorktown; his granddaughter Ashley Malone; his stepgrandchildren, Gracie, Erica, Kane, Emilee and Taylor; his sisters, Marsha Baumann of Victoria and Jimmie Kanak (Clinton) of Canyon Lake; and his nieces and nephews, Wesley Wisian (Christine), Clayton Wisian (Brooke), James Baumann (Nicole), Cody Baumann (Natalie), Kellen Guzman (Bryan) and Bryce Kanak.

Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church of Nordheim.
