It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Lamar Bethke of Nordheim, Texas, born in Goliad, Texas, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arbuth Bethke and Lillie Urban Bethke; his wife Sharon Rae Bethke; his grandparents, William, Emma Bethke, John and Isabel Urban; and his brother Aubrey Bethke (Sonny Boy).
He is survived by: his daughter Vanessa Rae Rohan (Eric) of New Braunfels; his granddaughter Kylie Rae Rohan; his sisters, Merlyn Bitterly, Daisy Borgfeld and Joyce Taylor; his sister-in-law Lynda Henley; his friend Tonie Powell; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
