It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Shirley of Nome, Texas, born in Cleveland, Texas, who passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Shirley and Lida Hines Shirley; his son Donald Shirley; and his sister Dana Manuel. He is survived by: his wife Melba McFerrin of Nome; his children, Lloyd Shirley (Kristin) of Nome, Thomas Shirley (Kay) of Wake Village and Melinda Shirley of Spring; his grandchildren, Amy Abshier, Megan Griffin and Macy Shirley; and his sisters, Virginia Perry and Mary Brodie.
