He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Marie Zimmerman and George Evens; his son Darin Evens; and his brother Hub Evens. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Libby" Evens; his daughters, Karen Evens of Apache Junction and Kimberly Schroeder (Billy) of China; his grandchildren, Jon Evens, Zane Irick, Slade Schroeder, Dillon Schroeder, Brooke Schroeder, Libby Schroeder, Justina Webber, Kendra Evens and Westin Evens; and his siblings, Sharon Bush (Hal), Joe Evens (Katherine) and Wayne Evens. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
