He is survived by: his wife Linda Martel of Nome; his children, Elbert Sirmons (Dannette) of Winnie and Rhonda Bridges (Rob) of Katy; his brothers, Virgil Martel (Fay) of Nome and Tommy Martel (Sherry) of Nome; his grandchildren, Nichole Schneider (Lewis) of Anahuac, Bailey Bridges (Rolf Rydahl) and Cal Bridges of Katy; and his great grandchildren, Avery Schneider of Anahuac and Maci Schneider of Anahuac. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the He Enjoyed Building. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
