She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Slankard and Bonnie Slankard; and her husband Norman Oakley of Afton. She is survived by: her sister Novell Penix of Tulsa, OK.; her children, Jan Patton (John) of Ennis, TX. and Roger Oakley (Mimi) of Montague, TX.; her grandchildren, Joshua Oakley, Jordan Oakley, Valerie Scrogham, Veronica Harvey, Jennifer Bolton, Jeremy Harvey and Chris Harvey; her cousin Madelyn Sparks of Nocona, TX; and her niece Michelle Penix.
