It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wade Gordon of Nixon, Texas, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wade Gordon to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlin C. Gordon and Bessie Pearl Gordon (Grantham); his mother-in-law Joyce Patteson; and his niece Brenda Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Patteson; his children, Kyle, Hayley Gordon, Kara Gordon and Shane Garner; his grandchildren, Courtney Cochran, Grady Wyatt Posas, Hayden Dwight Gordon, Brayden Wade Gordon and Hadley Faith Posas; his siblings, Linda Bishop (Rickey) and Dale Gordon (Laura); his father-in-law Z. G. Patteson; his sister-in-law Trlica Pieprzica (Larry Schuenemann); his aunt Jimmie Gordon; and his uncle Pete Grantham (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces that he deeply loved; cousins, and many, many friends.
As Wade's grandchildren were the light of his life, the family requests that those desiring to make a memorial contribution do so to a fund at Third Coast Bank in Nixon. Any monetary memorial contribution will be kept as a gift for the grandchildren from their Papa for their future endeavors.
