It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Butler (Nixon, Texas), born in Yorktown, Texas, who passed away on April 8, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Koopmann and Lillie Koopmann (Hengst); her grandson Ryan W. Butler; and her siblings, Melvin Koopmann, Gilbert Koopmann, Hilmer Koopmann and Doris Roeder.
She is survived by: her husband William E. "Buck" Butler; her sons, Gary Butler (Charlene) of Nixon and Rodney Butler (Dawn) of Berclair, Texas; her grandchildren, Ross Butler (Kacey), Tallis Butler, Jadan Butler and Braxton Butler; her great grandchildren, Hank Butler and Tayte Butler; her siblings, Earlen Jalufka and William Koopmann; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Simek.
