Magdalena Vara Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, at the age of 84, Magdalena Vara (Nixon, Texas) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Magdalena Vara to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Monsibais and Victoria Vara; her husband Alfredo Castillo; and her sons, Arnulfo, Genovevo, Domingo and Jacobo Castillo.
She is survived by: her children, Pedro Castillo, Marcelo Castillo, Jose Castillo, Bernabe Castillo, Nicasio Castillo (Angela), Leonor Mendiola (Martin), Maria Tristan (Fidencio) and Rosita Limon (Mario). She is also survived by 44 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (308 E 3rd St, Nixon, TX 78140). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (207 S Washington Ave, Nixon, TX 78140). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
