He was predeceased by: his father James Stephen; and his siblings, V. C. Cowey, Buddy Cowey and Ray Cowey. He is survived by: his wife June; his children, LeAnne Swick (LaRoi) and Lee "Bubby" Cowey (Wendy); his grandchildren, Charles Swick (Evie), Jeremy Swick, Austin Swick (Allison), Matthew Swick (Ariah), Jacob Swick, Chris Cowey, Camren Cowey and Jaysen Cowey; his great grandchildren, Arisa Lee Swick, Tobin Joseph Swick, Emma June Swick and Raylan James Swick; and his siblings, Charles Cowey (Teresa), Joyce Pierpont and Margie Moore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
