Betty June Ahrens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty June Ahrens, who passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 83. Betty was born on April 29, 1939 in Nixon, Texas to Mansel Pullin and Charlotte (Wishert) Pullin. On July 19, 1958, she married Stanley Edwin Ahrens in Karnes City, Texas. In 1968, Stanley and Betty moved to La Vernia where they raised two sons.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband of more than 57 years, Stanley Edwin Ahrens; and her parents, Mansel Pullin and Charlotte Pullin (Wishert). She is survived by her sons, Mansel "Pistol" Ahrens (Tina) of Rockport and Stevie Ahrens (Charlotte) of Adkins; her grandchildren, Brent Ahrens, Dustin Braune (Alison), Tyler Denson (Mariah), Tanner Scheel (Melinda), DJ Scheel (Ashley); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Kennedy, Lucy and Winnie. As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Lastly, her grand dogs, Camo and Laguna.
