He is survived by: his wife Betty Knighton of Bleakwood; his children, Clint Knighton of Fawil, Larry Knighton (Dede), Connie Henley (Nathan), Paul Knighton (Tina) and Tonya Meche of Bleakwood; and his siblings, Clarence Knighton of San Antonio, Geraldine Lewis of North Carolina and Sherrell Nichols of Old Salem. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
