He is survived by: his wife Sandra Varner; his children, James Varner (Stephanie), Greg Varner (Lori), Sue Varner Bryce of Nacogdoches, William Joseph Hall Varner (Mindy) and Patrick Varner (Cindy); and his sisters, Frankie Langengger, Mavis Rhame, Lorene Brown and Addie Gene Jordan.
