He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ross and Esther Ilene Ross (Shelters); and his siblings, Eunice Russell, Betty Martinez and Robert Ross.
He is survived by: his former spouse Donnie Ruth Johnson; his wife Ruth Ross of Newark; his sons, Bill Ross (Pam) of Kansas, Mike Ross (Dee) of Newark and Mark Ross (Tams) of Round Rock; and his grandchildren, Lauren Graves, Brian, Jason, Ben and Steven Ross.
