He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Stephens and Anne Stephens; and his siblings, Doris Goode, Christine Goode, Wayne Stephens, Doris Stephens and Kenneth Stephens.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara McAfee Stephens; his children, Patricia Cox (Dennis) and Jacky Stephens; and his stepchildren, Randy Jackson, Charissa Feasel (Steve), Jeff Jackson (Paula) and Jordan Jackson (Debra). He is also survived by other friends and relatives.
