It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeneva Brackeen (Newark, Texas), who passed away on February 10, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Boney Bramlett and Mattie Mae Bramlett (Boner); her daughter Peggy O'Gorman; and her siblings, A. Z. Bramlett, Faye Ferguson and May Bell Watkins.
She is survived by: her husband George Brackeen; her children, Donna Sharp (Gary) of Alvarado, Carroll West (Jesse) of Durant, Oklahoma, Larry Brackeen (Arlene) of Saginaw, Allen Brackeen (Cathy) of Azle, James Brackeen (Susan) of Springtown, George Brackeen of Newark, Johnny Brackeen (Katy) of Newark and Darrell Brackeen (Laura) of Muenster; and her stepchildren, David Brackeen of Paris and Marsha Tucker (Glenn) of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
