He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Walter and Betty Helen Kennan (Dickenson); and his son Jason Kennan. He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Sue Bentley; his wife Sue Kennan of Newark; his children, Michael Kennan of Newark, Helen Kennan of Newark, Summer Olalde (Adrian) of Justin and Debbie Smith of Arkansas; his grandchildren, Richard, Axel, Erica, April, Jack, Karl, Katie, Ayden, Ava, Kylie, Hannah and Nova Dawn; his great grandchildren, Raylynn and Layla; and his brothers, Tom Kennan, Sr. of Paradise, Ed Kennan of Tuttle and Larry Kennan of Elkins. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
