He is survived by: his wife Susie Strauss (Nelson); his sons, Matthew Strauss and Gus "Jamie" Strauss III (Jordan); his siblings, Mary Rose Grafe (Ervin) and Olin Strauss (Erin); and his grandchildren, Luke, IV and Palmer.
