She was predeceased by: her siblings, Arthur Lockhart and Mary Brown. She is survived by: her former spouses, Beyrt David and Betty; her husband Ralph Hayes; her children, Lucretia, Kirkland David (Kirk), Rebecca Cordell (Becky) and Michelle Phillips; and her grandchildren, Angela Robinson, Jennifer Chaddock, Matthew Cordell, Laura Barley, Christopher Phillips, Meagan Kelly and Nicholas Phillips. She is also survived by spouses, and 17 great grandchildren.
Due to advancing Alzheimer's related dementia in 2014, Betty moved into Silverado Cypresswood Memory Care.
