With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Krpec Labay of New Taiton, Texas, born in Taiton, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Krpec and Hattie Labay Krpec; and her siblings, Carolyn, Patsy Krpec, Lawrence Krpec, Jimmy Krpec, Fred Krpec, Jr. and Jerry Krpec.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Labay, Jr.; her sons, Kurt Yackel (Gina), Chris Yackel (Jennifer) and Clay Yackel (Cassi); her grandchildren, Warren, Colton, Kyler Yackel, Meachelle Yackel and Miranda Yackel; her great grandchildren, Riley and Lylah Yackel; her siblings, Jo Faas, Frances McKeon, Geraldine Faulkenberg, Jeanette Martignoni, Raymond Krpec, Billy Krpec and Allan Krpec; and her close friend Cindy Koehn.
