We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Edwin Zapalac (New Taiton, Texas), born in Schulenburg, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Martha Zapalac; his brother-in-law Albert Berckenhoff; his niece Jean Zapalac; and his mother-in-law Joyce Kahanek. He is survived by: his wife Karen Kahanek Zapalac of New Taiton; his siblings, Agnes Berckenhoff of St. John, Julius Zapalac (Edith) of Muldoon, Herman Zapalac (Irene) of Marlin, Henry Zapalac (Betty) of Schulenburg and Mike Zapalac (Jennifer) of Schulenburg; his brothers-in-law, Clarence Kahanek (Pam) of Spring and Glenn "Chopper" Kahanek of New Taiton; his daughters, Joann Schimcek (Ronnie) of Weimar and Melinda Castilleja (Vincent) of Pflugerville; and his nephews, Dr. Marc Fitzpatrick, Dr. Mike Fitzpatrick, David Fucik, Kenny Mrnustik, Mark Supak and Derek Treybig. He is also survived by three granddaughters; one grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in memory of Edwin may be made to St. John Catholic Church.
