It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Rose Lyssy of New London, Texas, who passed away on November 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Beatrice Rose Lyssy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Felix Kotara and Margaret Kotara (Fabian Lyssy); her son Adrian Lyssy; her granddaughter Adrian Mumford; and her siblings, Julia Sekula, Emil Kotara, Clifford Kotara, Prosper Kotara and Albert Kotara.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Lyssy, Phyllis Ott, Diane Bonds, Collette Ducksworth and Lanette Eastwood; her children-in-law, Glenda Broadbridge Lyssy, Joe Bonds, Danny Ducksworth and Tony Eastwood; and her sisters, Annie Clanton and Alice Keller. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
In spite of beating Covid, ultimately she could not overcome the damage done to her heart and lungs.
The family suggests a house plant from their local florist (Amazing Grace-903.984.2024) or memorial contributions to Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
