He was predeceased by: his sister Nelma Ritchey. He is survived by: his spouse Judy Gail Turner; his sons, Jason Gandy (Meghan) of New Home and Josh Gandy (Paige) of Acuff; his sister Denise Gandy of Lubbock; and his grandchildren, Corbin, Jaylee, Colt, Lynlee and Clay.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the New Home Volunteer Fire Department.
