He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Gus Nieman and Olga Nieman (Schneider); his wife Darlene Lowrey; and his brothers, Norvin Nieman and Willie A. Nieman.
He is survived by: his children, Debi Nieman (Scott Raines), Shannon Gonzales (Joe) and Robbi Nieman; his grandchildren, Tyler Nieman (Jaime), Josh Nieman (Emily), Kali Stevens (Kevin Williams), Kassidi Sneed (Josh), Camryn Nieman, Kayla Gonzales and Addison Nieman; and his great grandchildren, Merritt, Mason, Madilyn, Miller and Mia Nieman.
