He was predeceased by: his wife Tina Whitfield; his parents, Alfred Whitfield and Evely Shelton Whitfield; and his sister Teri Lynn Drennan. He is survived by: his children, Alan Whitfield, Joseph Whitfield and Angela Whitfield; his sister Debbie Russell; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Allison, Tracy, Chelsey, Evelynn and Jayden.
