It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valera Mae Cozik of New Braunfels, Texas, born in Mason, Michigan, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ceral Underwood and Anna Austin Underwood; her husband Robert "Bob" Cozik Sr.; her siblings, Donald, Beverly and Bethel; and her children, Robert "Butch" Jr. and Marcia.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Joffray (Alan); her granddaughter Angel Smith-Carter (Nick); her great grandchild Quinn Carter; her daughter-in-law Lynn; and her grandchildren, Rob, Wayne, Kevin, Laura, Matt, Mark, Kelly and Evan. She is also survived by spouses, children, and grandchildren.
She requested no services or memorials but if you wish to do something to honor her life, you may donate to the charity of your choice in her name.
