He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis C. Vollbrecht and Dorothy L. Vollbrecht (Diana J. Vollbrecht); his siblings-in-law, Tim Pittman and Joselyn Wolter; his parents-in-law, Hilmar and Norma Schwab (Goebel); and his brother-in-law James Schwab.
He is survived by: his grandson Ridge; his wife Diana J. Vollbrecht; his children, Stephanie Acker (Chris), David Vollbrecht (Yvette) and John Vollbrecht; his sister Charlene Pittman; his nieces, Angela Jordan (Matt) and Laura Pittman; his cousin Jeffrey Reinhard; and his grandchildren, Madison Hogue (Sam), Jillian, Owen Vollbrecht and Kinsey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude, that donations be made to the Sophienburg Museum, Hope Hospice, or charity of one's choice.
