He was predeceased by: his parents, Norberto Acevedo and Francisca Acevedo; the mother of his children Mickie Acevedo; his siblings, Paul Maltos (Juanita), Ramiro Acevedo (Angelita), Maria Luisa Cruz (Agapito) and Leonila Valdez (Richard); and his brothers-in-law, Juan Martinez and Ramiro Pruneda.
He is survived by: his daughter Delia; his son-in-law Ralph Cervantes; his son Rudy Jr.; his daughter-in-law Jill Acevedo; his grandchildren, Amanda Arguijo (Paul), Regina Patino (Adrian), Joshua, Evie and Nora Acevedo; his great grandchildren, Dominic and Theodore; and his siblings, Rogelia Pruneda, Eloisa Acevedo, Teresa Martinez, Elida Jurado (Albert), Robert Acevedo and Fidel Acevedo (Mary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children.
