Surprenant Sr. (New Braunfels, Texas), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Minnie; his parents, Arthur Surprenant and Elsa Surprenant of Bridgeport; his brother Arthur Surprenant of Ocean Shores; and his parents-in-law, Willie and Edna Simons of Texas.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard Jr. (Starla Surprenant) and Robert (Darlene Surprenant); his grandchildren, Amber Lawson (Ryan) of Seguin, Texas, Sheena Renaud (Aaron) of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Kyle Surprenant (Keely) of New Braunfels and Drew Surprenant of Fort Worth, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Kai, Cohen, Lakelyn Lawson of Seguin, Layton and Tenley Renaud of Iowa Falls, Iowa..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Zoeller Funeral Home (615 Landa St, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
