He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Marie Solomon (Valenza) and Samuel Sr. Solomon; his daughter Christine Solomon; his siblings, Samuel Jr., Joseph, Bruce, Carlin, Daniel, Beverly, Jacquelyn and Sylvia; and his close friend Edna Eckroat.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Anderson (Kip) and Richard Jr. (Mary); his grandchildren, Dustin, Lacey Anderson, Bryan and Chelsea Solomon; his siblings, Louis, Kenneth, Geraldine and Margaret; and his friends, Bryan Eckroat (Janet), Connie Euler (Travis) and Roger Eckroat (Vanessa). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1254 I-35BL, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (386 N Castell Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:15 AM and at 12:30 PM.
