He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Baese and Gladys Baese (Reimer); and his former wife Karen (Nolte). He is survived by: his wife Arlene Rhodes Baese; his daughter Kara Baese; his granddaughter Holly Reagan; and his stepdaughter Victoria Lynn Rhodes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hope Hospice and the New Braunfels Historical Railroad Museum.
