He was predeceased by: his brother Gabriel Aaron Mata; his grandfathers, Thedore Parra and Benigno Rivera; and his aunt Mary Villarreal (Louie). He is survived by: his parents, Trinidad Rivera, Sr. and Irene Mata; his siblings, Merissa Rivera and Trinidad Rivera, Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Jesse Rivera, Olivia Rivera and Gabriel Rivera; his grandmothers, Adela Parra and Gloria Rivera; and his aunts and uncles, Mando Mata (Josie), Dora Farias (Jessi) and Armando Parra (Julie). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1254 I-35BL, New Braunfels, TX 78130). A prayer was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Comal Cemetery (301 Peace Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130).
