He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Gillen and Dorothy Mahr Gillen of Virginia; and his brother John Randolph Gillen. He is survived by: his sons, James Randolph Gillen and Jacob Arthur Gillen; and his grandchildren, Erica, Jenson and Ian Gillen.
