She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Hugh Furr; her parents, Hince Sanders and Loney Sanders; her brother Jesse Sanders; her nephew Allen Sanders; and her grandchildren, Christian Addison Furr and Stephen Travis Furr.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Kay Pointer, Robert Drew Furr (Cora), Juliann Lee Furr (Michael Bounds) and Jennifer Blair Furr; and her grandchildren, Madison Furr McClaugherty (Dylan), Caroline Brooke Furr, Courtney Furr Pinegar (Willem), Robert Austin Furr, Travis Walker Furr and Michael A. Pointer.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to St Jude Children's Hospital or your local pet rescue.
