It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Sjurseth of New Braunfels, Texas, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Seymour Sjurseth and Betty Sjurseth (Sharpe); his wife Theresa Maria Sjurseth (Nordsig); his children, Geir and Laura; his grandchildren, Isolde, Zorn and Alexandria; and his siblings, Sandy, Susan and Jeff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
