He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard E. Lloyd and Alma Lloyd (Hoffman); his son Duane Lloyd; and his siblings, Retha Hasty, Wilma Logan and Earl Lloyd.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Lloyd of Uvalde; his children, Rodney Lloyd (Cathy) of San Antonio, Leslie Lloyd (Julie) of Granbury and Angela Vlasak of College Station; his grandchildren, Josh Vela, Julien Vela (Taylor), Garrett Lloyd (Emily), Kyle Vlasak, Justin Lloyd, Savannah Vlasak and Reagan Lloyd; and his brother David Lloyd (Pat) of Eldorado.
He also knew the sacrifice that one family made by having their loved one's organs donated; The Donate Life TX program allowed him to enjoy an additional 23 years of life. As a result, he became an advocate for organ donation.
