We bid farewell to Ida Mae Light of New Braunfels, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 18, 2024 at the age of 95. Ida touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson Adams and Ida Ethel Ingram Adams; her husband Doyle Light (J. D.); and her son Richard Therman Light. She is survived by: her siblings, Marion Adams (Anita), Marvin Adams (Bonita), Arnold Adams (Betty), Berniece Foster (Reynolds) and Doris Brandt; her siblings-in-law, Doris Bechthold (Howard) and Herbert Blundell; her children, James Light (Sue) of Corpus Christi and Beverly Henneke (David) of New Braunfels; her daughter-in-law Connie Light of Fort Worth, Texas; her grandchildren, Ross Light (Angela) of South Hamilton, Ginny Pittman of Sandia, Christie Neumann (Chris) of New Braunfels, Carrie Mabrito (Garrick) of New Braunfels and Aleisha Dickey (McClane) of Tyler, Texas; her great grandchildren, Sky, Brancen, Trisha Pittman, Kevin, Callie Belcher and Haleigh Mabrito; and her sister Ruth Blundell of Rockport. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
