He was predeceased by: his father Francisco Martinez; and his siblings, Marcelino "Lino", Damacio, Manuel, Celestino "Chester" and Paulita.

He is survived by: his wife Alica; his sister Refugia "Cookie"; his son James; his daughters-in-law, Courtney, Carol and Mary; his daughter Monica; his son-in-law Tony; his grandchildren, EJ, Stefanie, Kaileigh, Cassidy, Ryne, Rheygan, Johdy, Robynne, Camdyn and Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Kenneth, Lily, Riley, Benny and Lyda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
