She is survived by: her daughter Maria Elena Rubio; her granddaughter Lisa Marie Rubio; her great grandchild Savannah Marie Valencia; and her siblings, Celestina Machuca and Encarnacion Garcia.

She volunteered on her spare time and donated to different organizations even when she only had little herself.
