He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Helmke and Nola Helmke; and his brother Harvey Lee Helmke. He is survived by: his wife Beverly of Canyon Lake; his son Michael (Kim); his granddaughters, Brookelynn, Shelby and Brynn of Belmont; his son Kevin (Shannon); his grandchildren, Dax and Harper of Johnson City; and his son Trey (Denay) of Canyon Lake.

Allan Walter Helmke, age 73, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 3, 2019, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
