With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Claude Stone of New Boston, Texas, who passed away on February 9, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Junius Bragg and Ruby Lee Garrett Stone; his brother J. B. Stone, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Mary Stone and Mike Russell; and his nephew Chip Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Stone of New Boston, Texas; his children, Ronnie Scudder of New Boston, Bill Stone (Janet) of Raeford, John Stone (Anna) of Winnsboro, Texas, Lori Rodriquez (Alex) of Mare Island, Melani Shelton (Shawn) of Malta and Heather Russell of New Boston, Texas; his sister Vertie Arney of Lubbock, Texas; his sister-in-law Kathy Mathews of Simms, Texas; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Litzler (Phillip), Kendall Scudder, Cedar Stone, Poppy Stone (Rebecca) of Bailey Taylor, J. D., Maggie Taylor, Jack Abston, Newt Taylor and Lydia Wilson; his great grandchild Liam Litzler; his nieces and nephews, Whitt Arney, Shawn Arney, Trey Stone, Luke Mathews, Tripp Mathews, Rhett Tucker, Tex Tucker, Kourtney Tucker (Clint), Kennedy Tucker and Piper Tucker; and his caregiver Shannon Carroll. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
