She is survived by: her children, Charles "Chuck" Simmons, Jr., Beverly Ann Strickland of New Boston and Gloria Simmons, Jr. of Waco, Texas.; her son-in-law Gary Gene Strickland; her grandson Charles B. Simmons, III; and her great grandchildren, Asiah Hamilton and Wrenley Dyess.
