He is survived by: his wife Nina Ealy Shaw; his daughter Carrie; his son-in-law Michael Amason of Simms, Texas; his stepchildren, Jenifer Diebold (Wayne) of Texarkana, Texas and Christopher Ragan (Marilyn Moser) of Harrell, Arkansas; his brother Earl; his sister-in-law Nome Shaw; and his grandchildren, Ryan Hanna, Halie Hanna, Tyler Smith, Colt Smith, Tanner Bailey, Peighton Ragan, Kaitlyn Ragan and Britney Ragan. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
