It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Burleson of New Boston, Texas, born in Maud, Texas, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Elgin and Marjory Lou Ivey Burleson; and his sister Elaine Burleson Shaver. He is survived by: his wife Mary Burnett Burleson of New Boston, Texas; his children, Shelly (Zack Burleson Hammonds), Stephanie (Jamey Plunk), Karri Culpepper of New Boston, Texas, Ben Burleson of Ottawa, Michael (Jina Mitchell) and Mark (Courtney Burnett); his sisters, Rowena (Roland Stroman) and Rhonda Higgins of New Boston, Texas; and his brother-in-law Leslie Shaver of New Boston, Texas. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
