He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Gibson; and his grandson Gaige Whitehead. He is survived by: his son Robert Shane; his daughter-in-law Kelly Gibson of Hope; his daughter Stephanie Gibson of Nash; his girlfriend Ann Smith; his grandchildren, Alyssa Ramsey and Dylan Witcher; and his great grandchild Brooklyn Witcher. He is also survived by many other friends and relatives.
