It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Newton Thompson (New Boston, Texas), born in Bowie, Texas, who passed away on January 2, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Zona Thompson of New Boston; his daughters, Kathy Thompson Ellis, Kelly Daniel of New Boston and Karla Thompson of Allen; and his grandchildren, Shane Daniel, Mande Ramsey, Sara Shafer, Amber Cichon, Erik Ellis and Kennedy Thompson. He was also cherished by 16 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
