She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hale and Lorena Hale; and her stepson Eric Ford. She is survived by: her husband Grady Ford; her brothers, Paul (Maxine Hale), Frederick W. Hale and Richard (Frances Hale); her stepsons, Randal (Natoshia Ford) and Roanld (Deborah Ford); and her stepdaughter-in-law Yolanda Ford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
