With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeannie Elizabeth Wise of New Boston, Texas, born in Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on October 13, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Jones and Dolly Zook Jones; her husband J. R. "Dune" Wise; and her siblings, Gene Jones, Steve Jones, Jimmy Jones and Eunice Durkee.
She is survived by: her children, Theresa (Danny Burns), Marilyn (Michael Bowers), Dianna Wise (Richard Slade), Karen, Rena (Hooshang Naghad), David (Kim Wise) and Danny (Suzy Wise); her siblings, Lilly Mae Teel of Hobbs and Vernon; her sisters-in-law, Linda Jones of Jasper, Georgia and Sarah Jones of Dodd City, Texas; and her grandchildren, Christopher Burns, Craig Burns, Michaelle Smith, Malisha Fuller, Misty Brown, Darrel Pynes, Danielle Latoof, John Stephen Forbing, Kylene Forbing, Alecia King, Justin Steinhilber, Matthew Wise, Sarah Wise, Jonathan Scott, Cassie Scott, Morgan Wise and Alex Wise. She is also survived by thirty-five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
