McMichael of New Orleans, Louisiana.; his aunts, Carolyn Smith of New Boston, Letha Farrar of New Boston, Mary Smith of Gainesville, Donnie Smith Jr. (Alice) of New Boston and Gail (Buck Mitchell); his father David McMichael of New Boston; and his cousin Connie Robinson of New Boston.
