He was predeceased by: his grandson Jody Saatkamp. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Shipley of New Boston, Texas; his parents, Bert Shipley and Fonda Shipley of Shendoah, Iowa; his children, Steven (Benedicte Shipley), David (Misty Shipley) and Shelli; his son-in-law John Pike of New Boston, Texas; his sister Linda; his brother-in-law Dave Linebaugh of Hopkins, Missouri; his brother Jeff; and his sister-in-law Marcia Shipley of Ankeny, Iowa. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
